The Geopolitics Test · PUBLIC GUIDE

A clear method. Honest limits.

The world is connected in ways a headline cannot capture. Take a sourced knowledge test covering institutions, regional history, economic connections, evaluating sources, and uncertainty. Your result is a starting point for learning, not a ranking of your worth or politics.

What the test measures

This is a knowledge and reasoning exercise, separate from the political compass. Objective items have a sourced answer and an explanation. Scenario items test the reasoning described in their explanation, not support for a political ideology. The short route uses 12 questions; the deeper route uses up to 30. The daily route uses a deterministic UTC-date shuffle of the reviewed bank.

Score, skips, and coverage

The scoring engine reports correct answers, answered questions, total questions, and a mastery band. The published implementation is the authority for denominators and thresholds. Skipped questions demonstrate no mastery. Dimensions are reported only where answered items provide evidence; a short test cannot measure every region or skill reliably. Review every answer to see exactly what supported the result.

Confidence and archetypes

Optional confidence ratings distinguish a guess from an answer you felt sure about. They do not turn an incorrect answer into knowledge. Analyst archetypes are educational summaries of an attempt. They are not psychological diagnoses, intelligence measures, percentiles, or comparisons to real world leaders.

Repeat attempts and versions

The same daily date uses the same question order for everyone on this dataset version. Practice can improve scores, so repeat results should not be treated as independent observations. There is no verified comparison cohort and no invented participant count. Questions include review dates and source links; time-sensitive evidence should be rechecked.
